People Moving and Handling Practical Sessions
Description
The objective of this people moving and handling training is to keep the knowledge and practice of all frontline healthcare staff up to date and effective. The program examines the manual tasks that staff find most difficult and proceeds to risk assess these tasks and practice a range of solutions. This enhances their ability to carry out their job in a safe manner for all involved. It is designed to meet all guidelines set out by the Health and Safety Authority and manual handling legislation.
